Nancy N. (Moore) Sattazahn

Nancy N. (Moore) Sattazahn, 90, of Lebanon, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, May 18, 2014 in Linden Village, Lebanon.  She was born Thursday, September 6, 1923 in Lebanon to the late James and Ella (Heisey) Moore.  She was predeceased by her loving husband Paul K. Sattazahn, Sr. in 1993.

Nancy was employed by Palmyra Area School District as a cafeteria worker.  She formerly attended Lebanon Church of the Brethren and Shirk’s Meeting House.  She enjoyed keeping her hands and mind busy by crocheting and reading.  Most importantly she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending every moment that she could with her family.

She is survived by a son, Paul K. Sattazahn, Jr. and wife Gail of Lock Haven; a daughter, Tracy L. Roth and husband Keith of Lebanon; 3 grandchildren, Penny Schiavoni and wife Barb Butler of Palmyra, Jacki Landis and husband Tim of Herndon, and Corey Roth and fiancé Jenn Simmers of Lebanon; 5 step-grandchildren, Christine Wilson and husband Pete, Pam Bennett and husband Mic, and James Budman and wife Tiffany all of Allenwood, Karen Stoner and husband John of Montgomery, and Tanya Hall and husband Eric of Muncy; 4 great-grandchildren, Gavin and Nicholas Schiavoni, Elijah Strawser, and Isaac Bell; 9 step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Wertz.  She was predeceased by 4 siblings, Grace Kimmel, Ralph Moore, James “Tank” Moore, and Richard Moore.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 23 ^rd at 11 AM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Reverend Samuel Fry officiating.  Family and friends are invited for viewing from 10 AM until time of the service.  Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Annville.
