Nancy J. Parke

Nancy J. Parke, 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 9, 2022, at Masonic Village at Elizabethtown.  Born Saturday, March 15, 1930, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late E. Hamilton and Martleen (Whitcroft) Parke.

Nancy received her B.S. degree in Elementary Education from Beaver College, Class of 1952. She taught for thirty-four years in several elementary schools in Montgomery County, PA. After retiring, Nancy moved to Fairview Lake in the Poconos where she was active with the Fairview Lake Association, the Hawley Library, and Meals on Wheels. Nancy played golf and skied and was a member at the Tanglewood Club. She moved to Masonic Village at Elizabethtown in 2010 and became involved with several activities including Shuffleboard, Pickleball, and was a Greeter at Sell Chapel.

She is survived by two nephews: William A. Lippincott V, married to Peggy, of Severna Park, MD, and Kenneth Parke Lippincott, of Laurel Springs, NJ, as well as Nancy’s extended family and caring friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by both her sister Martleen Evelyn and brother-in-law William A. Lippincott IV.

A Memorial Service will begin promptly at 11 AM on Saturday, January 28, 2023, in  Sell Chapel at Masonic Village, One Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA.  A time of visitation with the family will follow the services on Saturday.  Private interment will take place at the convenience of the family in St. Thomas Church Cemetery, Fort Washington, PA.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543.
