Nancy M. (Slesser) Lightner

Nancy M. Lightner, age 43, of Mount Joy passed away on June 26, 2014. She was the wife of the late James Lightner, who passed in December of 2011, and the sister of her late brother, Paul Slesser, who passed in April of 2007. She was born in El Cajon, California on January 26, 1971. Nancy attended Elizabethtown Area High School and worked at Lancaster General Hospital in the medical billing department.

Nancy was the daughter of Herman W. Slesser, Jr. of Elizabethtown and Betty L. (Bush) Groff of Lady Lakes, Florida. Nancy is survived by her sister Nicole L. Freeman, married to Roderick of Oceanside, CA; and three beloved children: Kyle M. Crist, married to Jessica of Terre Hill; Dustyn L. Crist of Mt. Joy; and Cheyenne M. Crist of Myerstown.

In her free time, Nancy enjoyed caring for her beloved Pomeranian, Dyna, reading, and going to the beach whenever she could.

The memorial service celebrating Nancy’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 2 ^nd at Ruhl’s United Methodist Church in Manheim, PA. A burial service will be performed privately for the family.
