Nancy Jayne (Blank) Kobularik

Nancy Jayne (Blank) Kobularik, 87, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Friday, May 23, 2025 at Penn Medicine, Lancaster. Born Saturday, January 29, 1938 in Duquesne, PA, she was the daughter of the late Aloysius and Kathleen (Veasey) Blank.

Nancy loved to read, to travel and to make new friends.  She loved talking with her five sisters, sharing memories of their childhood on the farm in western Pennsylvania and making plans for their regular reunions. Although she thoroughly enjoyed her work as a bookkeeper and banker, more than anything else she loved being a mom and a grandma.

Nancy's love for travel took her rafting down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon, beyond to California, across the Pacific to Hawaii and the Atlantic to Paris. She enjoyed trips to Aruba, to the gulf coast of Texas and points between with every trip enjoyed in the company of her children or sisters.

Nancy is survived by six children: Anita Reinert and husband Rob, Jayne Murphy and husband Steve, Rosemary Sekely and husband David, Linda Maria and husband Joseph, Johnathan Kobularik and Johanna Kobularik ; eight grandchildren: Valerie Reiter (Keith), Andrew Reinert, Angela Schaefer (John), Caroline Reinert, Kerry Harnish (Greg), Steven Murphy, Jr. (Tara), Alyssa McKnight (Ryan), and Nick Detz; Great grandchildren: Taylor, Sophia, Thea, Kylee, Dylan, Callen, Hadley and Cade; four sisters: Kathleen Bosnak, Patricia Blank, Carole Daniels and Judith Rockey. She was predeceased by a sister Rosemary Golias.

A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at John S. Sell Memorial Chapel, Masonic Village, Elizabethtown at 2:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 1:00 PM until the time of service. Interment will take place in the adjoining columbarium.
