Minerva K. (Smith) Stehman, 80, of Columbia, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Arden Courts, Harrisburg.  She was born on Saturday, February 11, 1939 to the late Clarence H. and Lillian K. (Beck) Smith.  She was first married to Robert Hershey Risser until his death in 1972.  She was later married Glenn F. Stehman.

In addition to her husband, Glenn, of Columbia, she is survived by a son, Paul H. Risser, husband of Melissa, of Hummelstown; a step-son, Philip Stehman, of Kansas; a step-daughter, Rebecca L. Mossburg, wife of Ronald, of Manheim; a brother, Clyde H. Smith, husband of Thelma, of Lititz; numerous grandchildren as well as Minerva’s extended family and caring friends.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert S. Risser and two brothers, Lester B. and Paul B. Smith.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022, 717-367-1543 with Reverend Bill Chamberlin, Chaplain, officiating.  Burial will follow in Risser Mennonite Cemetery, Elizabethtown.  There will be a viewing held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Minerva’s honor to Residential Hospice, 100 Sterling Parkway, Suite 110, Mechanicsburg, PA  17050.
