MICHAEL E. MORRIS

Michael E. Morris, 44, of Elizabethtown passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at home.

He was born on August 2, 1968 in York, PA. He was a graduate of North Harford High School, Delaware Valley College and attended graduate school at Virginia Tech.

Michael was a clerk with Manheim Auto Auction and a ring man with ABC Auto Auction.

He was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Elizabethtown, a former member of Fawn United Methodist Church, a longtimen4H member of the Black Horse 4H Club & Harford County Livestock Club as well as a 4H All-star.

Surviving are his wife Karen S. (Yeagley) Morris, his mother Carolyn (Duncan) Morris of Norrisville, Maryland, his sister Susan M. Birchfield and her husband Larry of Norrisville, Maryland, a nephew Jacob Birchfield, two nieces Bethany Birchfield and Julia Birchfield, his mother-in-law Carol Yeagley of Elizabethtown, his father-in-law Harold S. Yeagley of Calhoun, Kentucky and his loving golden retriever Duke. He was preceded in death by father Donald E. Morris.

Funeral services will be held at 12pm (Noon) on Monday, July 22, 2013 in St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Elizabethtown, with Pastor Tom Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in Milton Grove Cemetery.

Viewing will be from 10am until 12pm (Noon) on Monday, July 22, 2013 in the church.
