Michael Nathaniel Kohr

Michael Nathaniel Kohr, 23, of Lebanon, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 in East Stroudsburg.  He was born Friday, November 20, 1998 in Lebanon to Michael S. and Tami (Martin) Kohr.

Michael graduated from Cedar Crest High School in 2017.  He was a smart and funny young man with a heart full of compassion.  His physical disability did not prevent him from finding peace and serenity in the beauty of nature, while hunting, fishing or riding his bike.  He had an affinity for technology and was savvy with computers, programming and video games.  Michael struggled to find his way and battled to find the light that would fulfill him.  His loss leaves a void in the hearts of all that knew the bright shining smile that once existed.

In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by a brother, Matthew S. Kohr of Lebanon; paternal grandfather, Melvin J. Kohr of Lebanon; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Shirley (Dilger) Kohr; maternal grandparents, Nathaniel G. and Joanne (Dohner) Martin.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, July 12th at 7 PM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Pastor Doug Pyszka officiating.  Family and friends are invited for visitation from 6 PM until time of the service.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
