Michael Scott Harple

Michael Scott Harple, 59, of Harrisburg, passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014 in Golden Living Center-Blue Ridge Mountain, Harrisburg. He was born Tuesday, August 30, 1955 in Lancaster to the late Robert C. and Virginia (Weaver) Harple.

Michael was a graduate of The Johns Hopkins Hospital School of Perfusion Technology. He dedicated his life to working as a Perfusionist at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was skilled in the culinary arts and lived life to the absolute fullest. His greatest joy in life was his family, spending all the time that he could with his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by 4 siblings, Robert Harple of Boca Raton, FL, Brenda Bierly of Elizabethtown, Missy Little of Elizabethtown, and Sandy Wanamaker of New Holland; 10 nieces and nephews, Jennifer Heffleger, Brandy Leese, Todd Garber, Shannen Wise, Abbie Garber, Barry Simpson, Kirby Simpson, Michael Bathurst, Kelly Griffin-Devine, and Brandi Kurtz; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 20th at 4 PM at Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown 17022 with Rev. Walters officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 2 PM until time of the service.
