Michael Scott Greenawalt

Michael Scott Greenawalt, 57, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, October 25, 2014.  He was born Wednesday, September 18, 1957 in Hershey to the late Elmer and Mary Louise (Grance) Greenawalt. He was a hard worker, both in his yard and for more than 20 years at the Hershey Laundry.

He is survived by 3 sisters, Sally Ann Boyer and husband Richard, Kathy Greenawalt, and Linda L. Harbaugh and husband Harry; 10 nieces and nephews, Jennifer Greenawalt, Brandon Lampkin, Ardelia Lampkin and husband Kevin Smith, Robert Harbaugh and wife Dawn, Daniel Harbaugh, Christopher Harbaugh and girlfriend Jessica Gettle, John Harbaugh, Dustin Harbaugh and wife Rosie, Tina Boyer, and Lisa Boyer; and 15 great-nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a sister, Carol L. Greenawalt.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 31st at 3:30 PM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 with Reverend Samuel Fry officiating.  Family and friends are invited for visitation from 3:00 PM until time of the service.  Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.
