Michael W. Gaede

Michael W. Gaede, 68, of Bethel, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at home. Born, Wednesday, June 23, 1954 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Robert A. and Helen (Graser) Gaede.
A USMC Gunnery Sergeant, Michael served 14 years as a tactical data technician including time during the Vietnam Era. He was retired from Honeywell where he worked as an industrial mechanic. He was also a talented carpenter and worked in construction. He loved golf and hot rods, and was a Baltimore Orioles fan.
Michael is survived by his life partner Kathy Reph of Bethel; a son George C. Gaede and wife Mary of Elizabethtown; two grandchildren: Brian and Liam Snodgrass; and three brothers: Fred, Wayne and Richard Gaede. He was also survived by Kathy’s extended multigenerational family who he treated as his own.
Michael was predeceased by a daughter Ashley M. Gaede who passed away in September 2020 and a brother Robert Gaede in April 2022.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 at 11:00 AM.
