Melba (Rigley) Roth, 86, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the Massonic Village, Elizabethtown. She was born Saturday, March 17, 1928 in Uniontown, PA to the late William and Zona Rigley. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, John J. Roth, Jr..
Melba was a former member of Elizabeth Church of the Brethren. She was an elementary school teacher for 13 years in Newville and various other elementary schools in the Elizabethtown School District. Most importantly she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by a son, John J. Roth, III and wife Michelle; and 6 grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Friday, June 20, 2014 in Mount Tunnel Cemetery, South Market St., Elizabethtown 17022. Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown 17022.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren, 777 S. Mount Joy St., Elizabethtown 17022.
