Mary Ellen Campbell

Mary Ellen Campbell, 75, of Annville entered into eternal rest on November 28, 2016.  She was born on July 14, 1941 in Baltimore, MD to the late James Buchanan and Alice Hechmer.  She graduated from Western High School, Class of 1959.  She then worked as an administrative assistant at North Charles General Hospital, KCI Technologies and later at M.S. Hershey Medical Center.

Mary Ellen was a member of Grace Point Evangelical Free Church.  She particularly enjoyed her small group Bible study.  She loved spending her winters in Ft. Myers, FL and was an avid world traveler.

Mary Ellen was very devoted to her family.  She is survived by her husband Roy C. Campbell who taught Industrial Technology at L.D. High School for 30 years.  Daughters Cynthia (Cindy) Lear and husband Donald, Gwendolyn (Wendy) Jessep and husband Michael R.; her 5 grandchildren Christy, David and Drew Lear and Benjamin and Hannah Jessep; and 4 brothers and sisters.  Also surviving are Roy’s sons Steven and wife Kathleen Shaw and Ronald and wife Shelly; and granddaughters Leah and Quinn.

Family and friends are invited for viewing from 5 to 8 PM on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078.  Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM on Saturday, December 3rd at the funeral home.  Interment will follow the services at Hummelstown Cemetery, 186 S. Railroad St., Hummelstown 17036.
