Mary Alice (Troutman) Valerio, 92, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Juniper Village, Lebanon.  She was born Wednesday, June 20, 1923 in Millerstown to the late Horace J. and Ruth (Long) Troutman.  She was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, Jacob B. Valerio, on Tuesday, October 14, 2014.

She was born and raised on the Troutman family farm in Millerstown, Perry County.  Her life was a model for love and service, raising her children in a Christian home, volunteering at Messiah Village, worshiping in Palmyra Brethren in Christ Church, and active in her church Bible study group.  She was the Philadelphia Phillies biggest fan, and loved her family beyond measure.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol Ann Valerio of Palmyra, and Cynthia Lee Becker and husband Carl of Mt. Gretna; two grandchildren, Carl D. Light and wife Ritu of Harrisburg, and Angela M. Koumontzis and husband Dr. P. Dean of Arizona; six great grandsons, Nicholas, Costas, Alexander, Marcus, Demetrious, and Stavros Koumontzis.  She was predeceased by two brothers, Charles B. and George W. Troutman; and two sisters, Jane Kumler, and Alma Miller.

A celebration of life service will be held Monday August 3rd at 11:00AM Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078.  Private burial will take place in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
