Mary Joan (Walker) Tyler

Mary Joan (Walker) Tyler, 90, of Elizabethtown, PA passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Born in Lakeland, Florida, she was the daughter of Andrew Nelson Walker and Josephine Cady Walker.
Mary Jo was predeceased by her beloved husband of 63 years, Stephen L. Tyler, Jr. She is survived by three children: Linda of Elizabethtown, April, wife of Rocco of Lafayette, NJ and Andrew, husband of Diane of Westchester, PA; 7 grandchildren: Gabrielle, Laura, Robert Michael, Paige, Charlene, Jessica, and Daniel; and 9 great grandchildren.
She loved music, singing in church choirs throughout her life, was a member of the Connecticut Choral Society, and danced most recently with the Happy Tappers of Southbury, CT. She also enjoyed walking, traveling, golf and many different crafts.
A memorial service will be held in Newtown, CT at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home and Crematory, Elizabethtown, PA.
