Mary Agnes (Brown) Rishar

Mary Agnes (Brown) Rishar, 91, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy.  Born October 23, 1924 in St. Claire, PA, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Nellie (O’Neil) Brown.  She was married to John Rishar for over 25 years until his death in February of 1975.

She will be lovingly by three daughters: Rosemarie Kinsey and husband, Walter, of Elizabethtown; Kathleen M. Singer and husband, Ronald, of Mount Joy; Theresa Ferguson, of Middletown; 7 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 01, 2016 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 904 Mill Road, Elizabethtown, PA  17022 with Rev. Steven W. Fauser as Celebrant.  Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Middletown.  There will be a viewing at the church from 10 AM until the time of the Mass on Thursday.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown 17022, 717-367-1543.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary’s honor to St. Peter Catholic Church or Hospice & Community Care.
