Mary L. (Mambuca) Reese

Mary Louise Reese, 92 of Palmyra, previously of Hershey and Emporium PA passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014.
Born November 22, 1921 in Punxsutawney PA, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Mildred Mambuca.
Louise was a 1939 graduate of Emporium High School, and was employed for many years at GTE formally Sylvania Electronics. She moved to Hershey in 1984 and volunteered with the American Cancer Society, Hope Lodge, the Hershey Museum, and for 23 years at the Derry Township School District in the elementary library.
Her husband Arnold Reese, an infant son, John Mack Reese, half brother, Daniel A. Shirk and half sister Ellen Shirk Grube, preceded Louise in death.
Surviving are daughters Janis L. Fleming, wife of Gil of a Franklin, PA, Judith A. Boswell, wife of James of Palmyra; grandsons, Michael P. Manginell, husband of LeAnn, of North Beach, MD, Steven F. Manginell, husband of Holly, of Emporium PA, Dr. Christopher J. Boswell husband of Michelle, of Hyattsville, MD and Seth D. Boswell of Durango, CO; great-grandchildren, Regina Manginell Lipske, Dominic Manginell, Cody Manginell and Madisen Manginell.
Louise was an avid reader, loved volunteer work, and enjoyed creating and sharing her counted cross-stitch embroidery.
Louise attended the First United Methodist Church, 520 East Birch Street, Palmyra where a memorial service will be held on April 19, 2014, at 11:00 am in the chapel. Burial will be at the convince of the family at the Newton Memorial Cemetery in Emporium, PA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
