Mary M. (Knable) Myers

Mary M. Myers, 89, of Elizabethtown, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus, on Wednesday, November 13, 2024. Born in Mount Union, she was the daughter of the late Elida L. and Milla (Heclo) Knable. She was the loving wife to the late Charles L. Myers, Jr. for 59 years.

Mary was a proud certified nursing assistant and described as a strong-willed spitfire. She loved reading, especially her bible, and watching romance and Hallmark movies. Her favorite pastime was going out to eat at restaurants. Above all, Mary loved her family and her cat, Baby.

Mary is survived by her two daughters, Cathy and Janet; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter on the way; and her brother, Ronald. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles; brother, Paul; sister, Caroline; along with her husband and parents.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22, at 11AM at the Newville Bible Church, 819 Turnpike Rd. Elizabethtown, PA 17022 with Pastor Ed Eifert officiating. A time of viewing will be held from 10 AM until the start of the service. A burial will follow the service at Mount Tunnel Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
