Mary G. (Bowman) Hollis

Mary Geraldine Hollis (Jeri) 91formerly of Tuttle, OK, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014 at the home of her son Ricky. She was born in Tuttle, OK and was the daughter of the late Felix Lynn and Oma Rosemond (Oliver) Bowman. She was the widow of Lenniel E. Hollis who died in 1984.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Dan’l and Carla Hollis of Denver, CO and Ricky L. and Nancy Hollis of Palmyra; seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Jeri was a life-long member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Tuttle, and served as the state president of Oklahoma for one year. She was also active in the Boy Scouts and served as an Oklahoma Girl’s State Counselor.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 10, 2014 at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra at 2:00 p.m. with visitation from 1:30-2:00 p.m. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family in Oklahoma.
