Mary Ethel Hecht

Mary Ethel Hecht, 73, of Marietta, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center. She was born Wednesday, August 10, 1949 to the late Merv Byerly and Marjorie (Osborne) Songer.
She is survived by her children: Michelle Clouser and husband Eric, Kathy Reed, Dean Long II, and wife Shanen, Tyler Stobie and wife Lexii, and Danielle Hecht and wife Morgan; 13 grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 step great-grandchildren; brothers, Butch and Fred; sisters, Eva and Robin; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her step-father Pete Songer and brother Merv Byerly Jr.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 11 AM at the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022. A time of visitation will take place from 10 AM until the start of the service.
