Mary A. Eshleman

Mary A. Eshleman, fondly known as Nanny, 81, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Thursday, August 21, 2025. Born in Newport, she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Beatrice Reisinger. She was widowed by her loving husband, Paul H. Eshleman, in 1995.

Mary will be remembered as the ultimate mom. No matter how old her children were, they were still her babies. She enjoyed baking and was especially known for her chocolate cake with peanut butter icing, which was often requested by her family. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren. She had a strong work ethic and took pride in the work that she did in laundry service for Masonic Village. Mary was an animal lover, and especially adored her little dog, Daisy.

She is survived by her son, Edward Eshleman, daughter, Lisa Brown and fiancé Roger Flowers; grandchildren: Amanda Brown and fiancé Zachary Price, and Shelby Brown and companion Barrett Ryan; siblings: Susan Wilt, Tyrone Reisinger, Newton Reisinger, and Harvey Reisinger.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
