Mary Lou (Morgan) Burchard, 86, of Newville, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9, 2015 at Green Ridge Village, Newville. She was born Sunday, October 14, 1928 in Brantley, AL to the late Chas F. and Julia A. (Wells) Morgan. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Allan Burchard.
For 25 years she worked with her husband on the head boat North Star that he owned and operated in Ocean City, NJ.
She is survived by two daughters, Janice S. Hippensteel and husband Richard of Newville, and Ann E. Mountz and husband Randy of Gardners; a son, Ronald E. Shughart of Carlisle; six grandchildren, Sherry (John) Epley, Laura (Kevin) Lay, Michael (Janelle) Hippensteel all of Newville, Dominique (Cory) Lenker of TN, Jamie (Mike) Fink of Hummelstown, and Adam Shughart of Carlisle; and 15 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters.
