Mary E. (Myers) Brinser Calvert

Mary E. (Myers) Brinser Calvert, 91 of Elizabethtown, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born Monday, May 4, 1925 in Rockhill Furnace, PA, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Annie (Secrest) Myers. She was the wife of the late Earl Brinser who passed in 1969 and Roy G. Calvert who passed in 2012.
Mary enjoyed traveling, knitting, sewing, crocheting, word search puzzles and flower arranging. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star #407, Elizabethtown and the Elizabethtown Flower Club.
Mary is survived by four children: Earl (Nancy) Brinser, Elizabethtown; Suzanne (Harry) Fisher, Mount Joy; Debra (Dale) Burkett, Middletown and Roger (Karen) Brinser, Illinois; ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; a sister Mabel Hall, Alexandria, PA and four step children: Tom (Mary Rose) Calvert, Janet Taylor, Debbie Williams and Carole Bicknell, all of Maryland.
She was predeceased by three brothers: E. Monroe, John I. and Homer A. Myers; and three sisters: A. Catherine Hooper, Ada B. Barth and Helen A. Myers.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Sell Chapel, Masonic Village, Elizabethtown at 11:00 AM. Viewing will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place in West Green Tree Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
