Martin L. Barnett, Sr.

Martin L. Barnett, Sr., 67, of Marietta, passed away at home on Monday, April 7, 2025. He was born December 27, 1957 to the late Astor and Roberta (Gill) Barnett. He is survived by his loving companion, Melissa Byers.
Marty was a proud Army Veteran. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and watching movies. More than anything he was a loving companion, father, grandfather, and brother.
In addition to Melissa, he is survived by his sons, Martin Barnett, Jr., and wife Kate and Ryan Barnett and wife Allison; grandchildren, Alice, Caine, Ever, Olivia, and Evelyn Barnett; siblings, Renee Bradley and companion Charles and Melody Zink; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
