Martha A. (Myers) Gaster

Martha Amelia (Myers) Gaster, 94, formerly of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Paramount Senior Living at Lancaster County, Maytown.  Born Monday, April 25, 1927, in North Cornwall Township, Lebanon County, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Brubaker Myers and Fannie (Kreider) Myers.  She was married to Charles Edwin “Ed” Gaster for nearly 70 years.

Martha attended Hershey Free Church, Brookfield Bible Church, Harrisburg and Temple Bible Church (formerly Shenk’s Community Church), Elizabethtown.

In addition to her husband, Charles “Ed”, of Maytown, she is survived by three children: Edwin S. Gaster, married to Cathy, of Middletown, Mary Ellen “Meg” Siegel, of Manhattan, NY and Brook A. Gaster, of Odenton, MD.  Also surviving are five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and siblings: Karl Myers, Arlene Brubaker, Barbara Linebaugh, Arrabelle Deitrich and Susan Hess.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Annabelle Admire and a brother, Jay Earl Myers.

A Committal Service will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA, on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 1:30 PM.  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Fager-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 208 North Union Street, Middletown, PA  17057, 717-944-7413.
