Marlin J. Brosey, 84, of Elizabethtown, passed away on Sunday,
September 30, 2012 at Pleasant View Retirement Community. Born in Conoy Twp., he was the son of the late Kleeman and Ida (Diemler) Brosey. He was the husband of the late Emma Lou (Koser) Brosey who died in 2001.
Marlin’s life long passion was farming. He also worked as a metal
fabricator for Herr and Saco. He was an avid fan of the Phillies, the Hershey Bears and the Boston Bruins. Marlin also enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by four sons: Paul A. (Kathy Forry) Brosey, Bainbridge; David H. (Cindy Sweigart) Brosey, Bainbridge; Mark A. (Wanda Reno) Brosey, Bainbridge and Stephen J. Brosey, Mount Joy; seven grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and two sisters: Verna (Chuck) Howell and Faye Heisey.
Marlin was preceded in death by a brother Kleeman Brosey and a sister Faye Heisey.
A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 8, 2012 at Mount Calvary Church, 625 North Holly Street, Elizabethtown at 11:00 AM. Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place in Bainbridge Cemetery.
