Marjorie Jane (Schloo) Kolmus

Marjorie “Jane” (Schloo) Kolmus, 94, of Elizabethtown passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Hilburn and Edith (Naigle) Schloo. She was the loving wife of the late Russell J. Kolmus, Jr., who passed in August 2022.

Jane was an artist, painting anything from landscapes to animals. She worked on ceramics and was the former president of the Masonic Village Art Club. She loved animals, especially dogs. Above all, Jane loved her family, always supporting and participating any way she could.

She is survived by her four children, Marjorie J. Kolmus, Russell J. Kolmus III (Deborah), Robert John Kolmus (Susan), and Steven Ulshafer (Tina Marie); six grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Darlene Harmon; a brother, William Schloo; a sister, Ada Pearl Reese; along with her husband and parents.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28 at 11AM at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Family and friends are invited to a time of viewing from 10AM until the time of service.  An interment service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday at Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Ambler, PA.
