Marissa Christine Stough Profile Photo

Marissa Christine Stough, 20, of Lebanon, formerly of Palmyra, was tragically lost from our world on Monday, Christmas Day 2023 as a result of an automobile accident.  She was born in York, PA to Marcy C. Stough of Millsboro, DE, formerly of Palmyra, on Tuesday, June 17, 2003.

She graduated from Palmyra Area High School in 2021 where she played goalie for the varsity field hockey and lacrosse teams.  She followed her passion and graduated from Empire Beauty School in January 2023 and began working as an aesthetician for Kat Eye Beauty in Lebanon.  She was extremely hard working, juggling three jobs to ensure she could pursue her dreams and goals.  She began working at The Sinkhole Saloon & Grill and Palmyra Bowling at the age of fourteen, most notably known as a server to patrons, and was still an active part of operations.  She was vibrant and full of life, always present with a larger than life smile and her “friendly Marissa wave” sometimes using both hands!  Selfless, independent, giving and a lover of children—a beautiful soul gone, leaving an immeasurable void for all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving mother, Marcy C. Stough and wife Karie A. Stough of Millsboro, DE; five sisters, Mariah Hunter and significant other Jarrod Musko of Lebanon, Makenna Stough of Millsboro, DE, Melania, Maggie and Marleigh; maternal grandmother, Deborah Stough of Lebanon; maternal great-grandmother, Joann Warfel of York; and numerous other family and extended family.  She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Mark Stough.
