Marie G. Crawford

Marie G. Crawford, 87, of Hummelstown, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, October 5, 2024. Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gloria (Silvia) Medeiros. She was the beloved wife to Richard M. Crawford for 67 years.

Marie loved bowling, fishing, crafting, and cooking Sunday dinners. She also loved traveling with her husband. Marie was passionate about spending time in her garden, where she could watch for birds and butterflies. She enjoyed card games, especially Texas Hold ‘Em, and was a Phillies fan by association, watching every Sunday. Above all, she loved being with her family.

In addition to her husband, Richard, Marie is survived by her 5 children, Judith Conner (Daniel), Richard Crawford, Jr., Debra Ortenzio, Kathleen Crawford (Randy Whitmer), and Eric Crawford (Dolly); 13 grandchildren, Michelle, Erica, Carrie, Angela, Sarah, Lucas, Nichole, Keith, Joshua, Lauren, Matthew, Alex, and Hunter; 23 great grandchildren; and 2 great, great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her 5 siblings, Evelyn, Delores, Leo, Dennis, and Joseph; along with her parents.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 10 beginning at 11AM at Rothermel-Finkebinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 25 W. Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10AM until the service time, at the funeral home.
