Marian A. Lilly

Marian (Alleman) Lilly, 89, of Marietta passed away at Masonic Village on Monday, October 19, 2015. Born in Newville, PA she was the daughter of the late David and Bernice (Snyder) Alleman. She was preceded in death by her husband Kermit (Smoke) Lilly in 2004.

Marian retired from Wyeth Labs where she worked as an inspector. When she was younger; she loved to bowl, spend summers at the beach with friends and in her later years she lived for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by two daughters: Linda Bartles, wife of Samuel, of Arizona, and Vickie Rettew, wife of Steve, of Marietta; four grandchildren: Philip, Ryan, Steve, and Taylor; eight great grandchildren; brother Dale Alleman of Columbia, as well as many loving, caring friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter Audrey Bowles.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2PM on Friday, October 23, 2015 at Smedley-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 28 N. Gay St., Marietta, PA 17547, with Chaplain Doug Hoey officiating. A viewing will be held one hour before the service from 1-2PM. Interment will be in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Masonic Village Hospice, 1 Masonic Drive, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
