Marian L. (Walmer) Lancaster

Marian (Walmer) Lancaster, 89, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy. She was born on Friday, January 10, 1936 to the late Elmer D. and Bertha (Reigle) Walmer. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Albert Harry Lancaster, of 59 years.

Marian attended Scotland School for Veteran Children and was in the class of 1955. She worked at numerous sewing factories and for Hershey Security for over 20 years. More than anything she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.

She is survived by her children, Elmer A. Lancaster, married to Wendy, of Bainbridge, Burt L. Lancaster, married to Donna, of Elizabethtown, and Billie Reigle, married to Cameron, of Middletown.  Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister, Arlene McCleaf and husband John. She is predeceased by her granddaughter, Amanda Lancaster, and brothers, Elmer, Robert “Bob”, Walter “Wally”, Harold “Peewee”, Herbert “Herb”, Earl “Dutchie”, and Eugene “Gene” Walmer.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 5-7 PM at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
