Marian E. (Bechtold) Kanode

Marian E. (Bechtold) Kanode, 61, of Elizabethtown, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Hershey Medical Center. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Jay M. Bechtold and Ruth L. (Longenecker) Bechtold Fisher.
Marian was a member of Hosanna Fellowship of Christians in Lititz. She was employed by Norlanco Medical Center in Elizabethtown for over 15 years. She enjoyed singing and spending time with her grandchildren, and loved her flowers gardens.
Marian is survived by two sons: Sheldon W., husband of Brandy Kanode, Hummelstown and Shawn W., husband of Jennifer Kanode, York; five grandchildren: Cadence, Lyla, Caleb, Calea and Colton; a sister June Bechtold; five brothers: Nelson (Connie) Bechtold, Marlin (Jan) Bechtold, Wayne (Debbie) Bechtold, Harold (Sue) Bechtold and Paul (Lisa) Bechtold; four step-brothers and two step-sisters; and her step-father J. Herbert Fisher, Sr.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from Hosanna! A Fellowship of Christians, 29 Green Acre Road, Lititz, PA 17543 at 10:00 AM.
Viewing will take place on Friday at Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown from 6:00-8:00 PM and on Saturday at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will be in Goods Mennonite Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
