Marguerite M. Wert, 101, of The Masonic Village, Elizabethtown, and
formerly of Harrisburg and Gettysburg, went to be with her Heavenly
Father on Friday, February 8, 2013 at The Masonic Village.
She was born on January 15, 1912 in Orrtanna, PA to the late Edward J. & Annie M (Stultz) Naugle. She was a graduate of Gettysburg High School Class of 1931.
Mrs. Wert was retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Revenue. She was such a loving, kind, generous, optimistic, fun loving person. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was the widow of Charles A. Wert and was preceded in death by her son Ronald A. Wert, seven brothers and six sisters.
Surviving are her son Terry E. Wert and his wife Sharon of Greensboro, NC, her daughter Marjorie A. McCartney and her husband Edward of Gettysburg, her daughter-in-law Jackie Wert of Wyomissing, her five grandchildren Kim Fraley, Donna McCartney, Chad McCartney, Angie Hassara, Gregory Shue, her six great grandchildren, Chris Fraley, Amy Fraley, Liam McCartney, Adam Hassara, Alexa Shue and Thomas Shue.
Memorial services will be held at 11am on Saturday, February 16, 2013 in the Sell Chapel of The Masonic Village, with Rev. A. Preston VanDeursen officiating.
