Margaret E. (Murphy) Waltz Myers

Margaret E. “Peg” Waltz Myers, 93, of Masonic Village, Elizabethtown,
passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at the Masonic Health Care
Center. Born in Rheems, she was the daughter of the late George W. and
Catherine (Deckman) Murphy. She was preceded in death by husbands;
John I. Myers, Lester D. Waltz and Elias Andrews.
Peg was retired from Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. She loved
children and animals. In earlier years, she enjoyed hunting and going
to the mountains.
Peg is survived by nine children: Jean Cocker, June (Ed) Evers, Peggy
(Leroy) Hess, Pat (Paul) Fishel, Lester (Nyla) Waltz, Phyllis
(Charles) LaCroix, Priscilla (Wayne) Agnew, Georgiann (Tom) George,
and Karen (Melvin) Campbell; 21 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren
and numerous great great grandchildren; a brother, Elmer (Effie)
Murphy and a sister, Doris Oberdorf.
She was preceded in death four brothers: George, Jr., Benjamin, Edward
and James Murphy; three sisters: Catherine Leedom, Anna Stehman and
Mary Kready; and a grandson Allen.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2012 at
Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street,
Elizabethtown at 2:00 PM. Friends may call from 1:00 PM until the time
of service. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
