Margaret (Flynn) Toris, 83, of Palmyra, formerly of Perth Amboy, NJ, passed away with her loving family by her side on Wednesday, January 02, 2013 at the home of her daughter Elaine. She was born Friday, December 27, 1929 in Staten Island, NY to the late Edward and Josephine (Herdel) Flynn. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Edmund J. Toris.
She retired from Woodbridge Developmental Center after 20 years of service, was a member of the Royal Order of the Moose, enjoyed shopping, gardening, and housekeeping. Most of all, she was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by two daughters, Elaine F. Jugon and husband Andrew of Palmyra and Barbara T. Nielson and husband Robert of Lakewood, NJ; a son-in-law, Gregory Clark; five grandchildren, Meghan Clark, Maggie and Andrew Jugon, Robert and Brian Nielson; a sister, Isabelle Criscola of Toms River, NJ. She was predeceased by a daughter, Peggy A. Clark; a brother, Edward Flynn.
Graveside services will be held Friday, January 4, 2012 at 10:30 AM in Saint Gertrude Cemetery, 53 Inman Avenue, Colonia, NJ 07067. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to The Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 North Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
