Margaret Lee (Hutter) Phillips

Margaret Lee (Hutter) Phillips, 79, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Susquehanna Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Columbia. Born Thursday, May 6, 1937 in Washington, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Anna M. (Jones) Hutter. She was married to Richard E. “Dick” Phillips for over 60 years until his death on Saturday, December 5, 2015.
Margaret will be lovingly missed by a daughter, Rhonda S. Chiodo, wife of Orazio, of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren: Tonya Underwood, Tabatha Phillips, Richard L. Phillips; a great granddaughter, Jaelyn Eisenhart as well as Margaret’s extended family and caring friends. She was preceded in death by three daughters: Sherry D. Phillips, Margaret J. Underwood and Marilyn J. Phillips.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, December 19, 2016 at the Elizabethtown Mennonite Church, 300 South Spruce Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022. Burial will follow at 12:30 PM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, 717-367-1543.
