Margaret E. Frey

Margaret Ellen Frey, 96, of Lancaster, passed away, Monday, March 16, 2026 at Lancaster Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born July 6, 1929 near Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Lizzie E. (Emenheiser) Thompson

She was a former manager at K-Mart and was employed by Willie, the butcher in the Oregon Pike Stauffer’s of Kissell Hill.

She is survived by two brothers, Paul D. of Florida and Glenn L. and wife, Christine of Quakertown, Joyce wife of the late brother, John of Elizabethtown, PA and one grandson, Todd Barr. Margaret was predeceased by her daughter, Carol Ann and by seven siblings: Harry, James, Richard, Robert, Mary Ann, Joseph, Chris and John.

There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at Mt. Pleasant BIC Church Cemetery,1756 Mt. Pleasant Road Mount Joy, PA 17552 at 11:00 AM.
