Margaret M. (Flynn) Demko

Margaret Marie (Flynn) Demko, 98, of Middletown passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 24, 2017 at Frey Village.  She was born Saturday, November 1, 1919 in St. Clair, PA  to the late Harry and Mary (Hesse) Flynn.  She was predeceased by her loving husband Paul C. Demko, Sr.

Margaret graduated from St. Clair High School.  She retired from AMP where she worked in production assembly.  She was an active and faithful member of Seven Sorrows, participating in their Golden Group and the bereavement ministry.  She enjoyed crocheting.  Most importantly she loved her family and spending time with them.

She is survived by 2 sons, Brian P. Demko (Jane) and Paul C. Demko, Jr.; 5 grandchildren, John Demko (Shelly), Mark Demko (Carol), Michael Demko (Misti), Lori McRae (Rod), and Richard Demko (Nicole); and 13 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by 2 siblings, Anna Mae Hasson and James Flynn.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 280 N. Race St., Middletown, PA 17057 with Reverend Ted Keating officiating.  Family and friends are invited for viewing from 10 AM until time of the Mass.  Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Middletown.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Fager-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 208 N. Union St., Middletown 17057.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Seven Sorrows of the BVM.
