Margaret M. (Keck) Camp

August 6, 1924 — January 26, 2016

Margaret M. (Keck) Camp, 91, of Bainbridge, passed away at her home on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born August 6, 1924 in Middleton to the late Charles and Edna (Balmer) Keck.  She was married to Martin Camp on January 6, 1946.  Martin died on September 13, 2003.

A homemaker for most of her life, Margaret worked at the Marietta Army Depot during WWII doing her part to serve our country.  She was an active member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Bainbridge, where she was involved in many of the church functions and activities.  Above all, she will be remembered for her Christian faith as well as being a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

She will be lovingly missed by her three children: Martin L. Camp, of Bainbridge; Dennis R. Camp and wife, Barbara, of Langhorne, Sherry K. Beam and husband, Eugene, of Red Lion; four grandchildren: Derek Camp and wife, Allison; Kristen Beavers and husband, Daniel; Brian Camp; Andrew Beam and wife, Alison; four great grandchildren: Madeline and Owen Beavers and Aubrey and Brooklyn Camp and a brother, Elmer Keck and wife, Joanne, of Elizabethtown as well as Margaret’s extended family and caring friends.  She was predeceased by six siblings: Frances Rapp, Kenneth, Harold, Russell, Betty and William Keck.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, February 1, 2016 at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, 106 N. 2nd Street, Bainbridge, PA  17502 with Pastor Jan Mills officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bainbridge Cemetery.  Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to view at the church on Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022.
