Marcia K. (Shaffer) Dillinger

Marcia K. (Shaffer) Dillinger, 59, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 surrounded by her loving family at Hospice and Community Care, Mount Joy.  She was born Wednesday, June 22, 1955 in Johnstown, PA to the late Allen R. and Shirley L. (Barrickman) Shaffer.  She was married to Carl B. Dillinger on August 1, 1983.

Marcia retired from Masonic Village, Elizabethtown where she worked as a Physical Therapists Assistant for over 29 years.

In addition to her husband of over 31 years, she will be lovingly missed by her children; Tammy, James, Jennifer, Amber and Kayla; 8 grandchildren: Mason, Blake, Aspen, Keagan, Cayden, Kaylee, Xaine and Serenity; two brothers, Robert Shaffer, and wife Tonya, Larry Shaffer, both of Johnstown; a sister, Darlene Kush, and husband, James of Johnstown; as well as Marcia’s extended family and caring friends.  She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Zaina.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 1 PM at Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA  17022.  Burial will follow in West Green Tree Cemetery, Elizabethtown.  There will be a viewing held at the funeral home on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 PM and also on Friday from 12 noon until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Marcia’s memory to the Water Street Rescue Mission, 210 South Prince Street, Lancaster, PA  17603.
