Mae B. (Boyd) Wallace, 83, of Campbelltown, passed away in her sleep at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center on Thursday, October 16, 2014. She was born Sunday, May 10, 1931 in Fontana to the late Ammon and Francis (Shelly) Boyd. She was predeceased by her loving husband Richard H. Wallace.
Mae retired from the M.S. Hershey Medical Center where she was employed as the Pediatric Resident Coordinator. She was a faithful and active member of Campbelltown United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader, enjoyed vacations at the Contrary Club Canada, and took pleasure in spending time with her family and friends. Most importantly she was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.
She is survived by a son, Steven Wallace and wife Wendy of Palmyra; and 2 grandchildren, Kristin Wallace and fiancé Daniel Kreider of Palmyra and Tyler Wallace of Palmyra. She was predeceased by 5 brothers, George, John, Ammon, Paul, and Charles Boyd; and 3 sisters, Maggie Boyd, Ruth Boyd-Whitmore, and Fannie Boyd-Hartman.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 21st at 11 AM, at Campbelltown United Methodist Church, 2760 Horseshoe Pike, Campbelltown 17010 with Rev. Denise M. Founds officiating. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 10 AM until time of the service. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Annville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremations Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra 17078.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Campbelltown United Methodist Church.
