Lynn David Bucher

Lynn David Bucher, 75, of Campbelltown, passed away with family by his side on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at The Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon. He was born Sunday, January 23, 1938 in Stouchsburg to Ellen M. (Weinhold) and the late Warren A. Bucher. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Josephine A. (Klick) Bucher.

Lynn proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a real estate appraiser. He was a faithful member of Salem United Church of Christ. He was an avid sports fan, cheering on Penn State, the Hershey Bears, and most importantly his grandsons.

In addition to his wife he is survived by 2 daughters, Audrey Sanders (Brian) and Marie Foreman (James); 3 grandsons, Ryan, Matthew, and Jordan; 3 great-grandchildren, Scott, Shelby, and Savannah; and 2 sisters, Dr. Doris Bucher and Karen Bucher-Ni. He was predeceased by a son, Jay Lynn Bucher.

A memorial service will be held Monday, July 29th at 10:30 AM at Salem UCC, 2761 Horseshoe Pk, Campbelltown 17010 with Rev. Dwight Hein officiating. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 9:30 AM until time of the service. Burial will follow with full military honors in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, 17078.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Salem UCC, PO Box 7, 2761 Horseshoe Pike, Campbelltown.
