Louise F. (Fisher) Parrett

Louise F. Parrett, 87, of Elizabethtown, entered into the everlasting Heavenly Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown.
Born in Elizabethtown on 24 March 1926, she was the daughter of the late Clarence S. and Helen (Oberholtzer) Fisher, the granddaughter of the late Dr. Milton and Marian Cameron Strickler Fisher, and the wife of J. Samuel Parrett with whom she would have celebrated 68 years of marriage on 1 January 2014.
Mrs. Parrett was a 1944 graduate of Elizabethtown High School. During and following WWII, she was employed at the former Olmsted Air Force Base, Middletown, in the Finance Office.
She was a member of Mount Calvary Church in Elizabethtown and was a graduate of the Moody Bible Correspondence School. Mrs. Parrett taught women’s Sunday school and community Bible classes in the area and at Hidden Valley Camping Resort in Union County for 45 years. She volunteered at M.S. Hershey Medical Center for seven years and at Masonic Village Healthcare Unit for eight years.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Dr. Joan L. Parrett, a granddaughter, Priscilla Parrett, Esq. of Los Angeles; a sister Ruth Bingaman, Northumberland, and a niece and nephew. Mrs. Parrett was preceded in death by her son, Brent F. Parrett, an infant daughter and a sister, Marie F. Oakum.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Mount Calvary Church, 625 Holly Street, Elizabethtown at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place in Mount Tunnel Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Upwards Youth Ministry, Mount Calvary Church, 625 Holly Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
