Louise A. (Szegady) Brown

Louise A. (Szegady) Brown, 82, of Middletown, formerly of Elizabethtown, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Elizabethtown Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born Saturday, January 2, 1937 in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Helen Szegady. She was married to William Brown who passed away in 1997.
An LPN, Louise worked at the former Heatherbank Nursing Home. She lived in Cedar Manor in Elizabethtown, and owned and operated Louise’s Coffee Shop. She loved to read and knit, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
She is survived by five children: Jean Barton, Janice Brock, Ann Messner, married to Gene, Mary Poston and William Brown, Jr.; 11 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a brother Louis Segady, Jr.
Louise was predeceased by a son James Adrian.
A viewing will take place on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown from 6:00-7:00 PM. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
