Louis W. Aiello, 60, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully in his home with family by his side on Saturday, January 24, 2015.  He was born Sunday, September 5, 1954 in Pittsburgh to the late Louis G. and Margaret (Mason) Aiello.  He is survived by his loving wife Ruth Ann (McElwain) Aiello.

Louis was a houseparent at Milton Hershey School for 20 years.  He was a Worship Leader at the Elementary Chapel at the school.  He was a faithful member of LCBC Manheim Campus and was a member of the Men’s Fraternity.  He enjoyed singing and playing the piano and was an avid Steelers fan.  He had a great sense of humor and was always telling jokes and making funny lists.  Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

He is survived by 3 daughters, Michelle Aiello of Halifax, Megan Aiello of Carterville, IL, and Erin Aiello of Denver, CO; 2 grandsons, Donovan Aiello and Ashton Fountain; and 2 sisters, Patty Mangan of Coroapolis and Audrey Terebessy of Oakmont.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 29th at noon at LCBC Manheim Campus, 2392 Mount Joy Rd., Manheim 17545 with Pastor Keith Walker officiating.  Please enter through the Plaza entrance at the church. Family and friends are invited for viewing on Wednesday, January 28th from 6-8 PM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the American Brain Tumor Association, 8550 W. Bryn Mawr Ave Ste 550, Chicago, IL 60631.
