Lonnie Eugene Walters, 57, of Palmyra, died on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. Born in Harrisburg he was the son of the late Holly E. and Joanne E. (Wilson) Walters. He will be lovingly missed by his wife Robin R. (Rhodes) Walters.
Lonnie will be fondly remembered for his story telling, and his love of playing the guitar, canoeing, and going camping.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters: Maegan R. Walters (Brad Strittmatter) of Lancaster, Erin R. Benshoff (Justin) of New Columbia, and Nikki L. Wolfe (Joe) of Annville; four grandchildren: Patience, Chance, Bradley, and Lilyan, brother Terry K. Walters, and sister Donna Kennedy.
A time to visit and celebrate Lonnie’s life with his family and friends will be held from 1-4PM on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Middletown Anglers’ & Hunters’ Club, 1350 Schoolhouse Rd., Middletown, PA 17057. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078.
