Linda Jean (Shannon) Flowers, 69, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at her home in Marietta on Thursday, February 21, 2019. Born Monday, April 11, 1949 in Danville, Montour County, PA, she is the daughter of Dolores E. (Nickey) Shannon and the late Charles W. Shannon. She was married to Jay R. Flowers for over 47 years until his death on Thursday, June 16, 2016.
She is survived by two daughters: Candy L. Nobile of Wrightsville, and Tammy J. Woods, wife of Christopher, of Manchester; her mother, Dolores, of Marietta and four grandchildren: Austin, Kenny, Brianna, and Jordan.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, 845 Laurel Hill Road, Columbia, PA 17512. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Smedley-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 29 North Gay St., Marietta, PA 17547, 717-426-3614.
