Lillian Greshko

Lillian Greshko, 78, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. She was born Tuesday, January 27, 1948 in Hazleton to the late Edward and Stella (Barnoski) Greshko.

She was a devoted Catholic and longtime member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Palmyra. Known for her deep love of all animals, she had a special affection for cats and often took care of the felines belonging to deceased individuals. Her passion for animals extended to her leisure time, where she enjoyed watching shows related to wildlife and pets.

Starting her career as a hairdresser, she later pursued her education, earning an Associate’s degree followed by a Bachelor’s degree from Penn State University, State College Campus. For many years, she worked as an accountant at the MS Hershey Medical Center, from which she eventually retired after demonstrating unwavering dedication.

Above all, she will be remembered as a loving sister and cherished friend. Her warmth and kindness will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her loving sister, Barbara Kenny.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 27th at 11AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 300 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078. Family and friends will gather for a Vigil and Recitation of the Holy Rosary led by the Legion of Mary at 10:30 AM prior to Mass. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra.

Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra has been entrusted with the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Legion of Mary-Palmyra, Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 300 West Pine Street, Palmyra.
