Lester B. Rutherford, Jr.

Lester B. Rutherford, Jr., 77, long time resident of Mount Joy, passed
away on Monday, September 10, 2012 at Hershey Medical Center. Born in
Conoy Twp., he was the son of the late Lester B., Sr. and Gladys
(Troup) Rutherford.
Lester was employed by Armstrong for 27 years and retired in 1990. He
previously worked at the Savoy Shoe Company for 13 years. He was a
member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Mount Joy.
Lester loved hunting and fishing, and was an avid football fan.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Arla Mae (Brubaker) Rutherford
of Mount Joy; a son Lester B. Rutherford, III of Elizabethtown; a
daughter Linda Ramos of Leola; a grandson Robert Fusselman of Ephrata;
a granddaughter Christina Adams of Leola; two great grandsons: Brandon
Rutherford and Ryan Adams both of Leola; and a great granddaughter
Alyssa Beck of Ephrata.
Services and interment will be private.
