LEOTA A. HESS
Leota A. Hess, 82, of Mount Joy, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Lancaster General Hospital.
She was born in West Donegal Township, Lancaster County on August 28, 1931 to the late Joseph &Emily (Tschudy) Kapp.
She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Leota enjoyed doing her search a word puzzles and caring for her pets.
She was the widow of Eugene R. Hess, Sr. and preceded in death by a grandson William H. Warble, Jr.
Surviving are two daughters Mary Jane Watts of Mount Joy, Joann M. Barrelle and her husband John, Jr. of Marietta, two sons Eugene R. Hess, Jr. and his wife Russella of Mount Joy, David L. Hess of Mount Joy, a sister Pearl Miller of Harrisburg, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a great-great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, December 6, 2013 in the Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory of Elizabethtown, with Pastor Trevor A. Lightner officiating.
Burial will be in Good’s Mennonite Cemetery, Elizabethtown.
Viewings will be from 6pm until 8pm on Thursday, December 5, 2013 and from 10am until 11am on Friday, December 6, 2013 in the funeral home.
