Leona R. Sharp

Leona Rae Sharp, 68, of Middletown, passed away on October 16, 2016 in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center.  She was born July 19, 1948 in Harrisburg to the late Joseph and Anna Mae (Althouse) Sharp.  She was predeceased by her husband Leroy C. Houseman in 1999.  Leona loved living life and having fun, most of all she loved and adored her family.

Leona is survived by 3 children, Patty A. Hughes and husband Greg, Leroy C. Sharp and wife Angie, and John H. Sharp; 7 grandchildren, John, Tyler, Ryan, Brandon, Katie, Dagan, and Julia; a sister, Alice; and a k9 companion, Buddy.  She was predeceased by 8 siblings.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 19th from 4-6 PM at Fager-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 208 N. Union St., Middletown 17057.  Burial will be private in Middletown Cemetery.  Memorial contribution may be made in her honor to the Alzheimer’s Association Greater PA, 2595 Interstate Dr., Suite 100, Harrisburg 17110.
